Ross Carpenter

Contemporary / Pilates

Ross trained at Bird College, graduating in 2000 with a Diploma in performing arts and I.S.T.D Ballet Associate.

He immediately joined the UK tour of 42nd street and then went to work for Disney Cruise Line where he performed as a mainstage performer in shows such as Hercules the musical and Disney Dreams.

Between 2002 and 2015 Ross worked with Matthew Bournes New Adventures Dance Company, performing in 'Nutcracker', 'Edward Scissorhands', 'Highland fling', 'The Car man', 'Cinderella' and 'Lord of the Flies'.

He has also work with Sylvie Guillem in her Asian tour of 'Winter Dreams', Ffindance company in 'My Sweetheart Roland', Adam coopers 'Shall we dance', 'La Traviata' at the Royal Opera house, ‘Carmen’ and ‘Tanhauser’ at the Danish Opera house, 'The Adventures of Butterfly Boy', choreographed by Christine Devaney.

Teaching includes Contemporary Tutor for the C.A.T (Centre for Advanced Training) at Dance East and London Contemporary as well as Lead workshop Practitioner for New Adventures.

Ross is a certified Body Control Level 3 and Intermediate Mat work Pilates instructor and Reformer 1 Instructor and runs his own business.
